Working with mom

I'm so lucky that I can work and watch Krew at the same time because Krew is right with me while I'm working. But I have to admit that I'm no pro at being a mom or at multi-tasking . . . (yet, I get better everyday though!) Lately, I think its because of the warm weather, the office has been getting so busy. One day Krew was being fussy so I just brought him in the office with me and did my work because I HAD to get something done. After a while I realized that Krew was quiet and when I looked at him he was sound asleep! This pic. makes me laugh because it looks like he has been working so hard.

Mothers Day

I know mothers day was a while ago, but this was my first mothers day as a mom and thanks to my wonderful husband and of course Krew I had a great day! Being a mom is one of the hardest things that I have ever done but it has been SO REWARDING! I don't think anything can prepare you for it. It definatly helps you to not be selfish. Its nice to have a day like mothers day to get a little extra doting and reflect on all the great things that we get out of being mom's. Krew was such a good baby that day. It was almost like he was thanking me by not being naughty! haha I took these pic's of him on mothers day and I think they are so sweet I had to post them. This cute little face is definatly worth it!

Krew's Bathtime!

Pre bathtime: Can you believe those back rolls!!?? Krew loves to be nakad.
This picture is a little on the edge, I was trying to help krew be a little bit modest but I just love all of those cute fat rolls!

Post bathtime: This is when he smells REALLY good!

Krew and my jobS have been keeping me so busy that I haven't had any time to blog. Mom's have zero time to themselves! Krew is about 2 1/2 months now and he has chaged alot since he was born so I wanted to post some pics of him. Besides feeding him, burping him, changing his diapers, and loving him to death . . . here is what we have been up to:

Boise Trip!
Doug's little brother Allen went to state track in Boise so we went down and watched him. I was nervous to see how Krew would do but he did great! He is such a good traveler. To top the trip off Alan did GREAT!!! He and his relay team won their 4x2. He was the first leg so I'm sure he was nervous to start but is speedy. Congrats state champs! Ya did awesome Al! (Alan is the one in the bottom right) He is pretty cute just like all of his brothers eh?

On the way home from Boise we stopped in Twin to see Shoshone Falls. We had to get a little family shot with our shades on.

Krew got very tired from all the traveling and sight seeing :)

This is a cute pic. of Krew that I had to post. He's headed to church in this photo. Me and my friend Missy bought our boys the same sweaters hoping that by the time that they both fit into them we could get a picture of them together wearin the same outfit. However, Krew is growing like a weed and is already wearing 6 month clothes. He has far outgrown this sweater. Sorry Miss, I think someone is putting some miracle grown into Krew's bottles.

This is Krew in his blessing outfit . . . I couldn't believe my ears when he didn't make a peep through the whole thing! Doug gave a wonderful blessing. Krew is so lucky to have him as a dad. Lots of people came to help bless Krew. He is going to have so many good role models to look up to. Thanks everyone for coming!

Welcome to the family KREW!!

He has big blue eyes. . . they melt my heart.
Krew sleeping.

I could just stare at him all day. Its crazy to think that just a while ago this little guy was kicking me in the ribs!

This is the first time that Doug held him. :) It was so cute how fast he fell in love with Krew. I loved watching it.

Well, I haven't blogged for a while but I think I have a pretty good excuse- I was havin a baby!! On March 9th, at 5:28 our family became a little bigger. Welcome Krew! He weighed 7lbs. 3oz., 21 inches long and I must say that he is beautiful! It was the best experience I've ever had. . . we went to the hospital about 11:30 at night because I had been having contractions all day but that night they started to get pretty close together. They monitored me for an hour and I wasn't dialting any more but the nurse called my Dr. and he gave the go ahead to start me on pitt latter that night about 2 o clock so we were just waiting for that time to come. We called my mom and she came up to the hospital for the birth. When she got there Doug ran home to grab our things. While he was gone I had some SERIOUS contractions! I was having a really hard time and the nurse wasn't going to check me again for about an hour but my mom guessed that somethig was happening so she went and got the nurse and in 20 I had dialated from a 2 to a 6! So, we called Doug and told him to hurry back cuz I wasn't going to need to get started. He got there just as I was getting the epidural. From there the delivery was GREAT!! I highly recomend epidurals!! I cld not have done it without one. Doug and my mom were great to have with me. They helped me so much I could not have done it without either of them! I wasn't expecting the recovery to be so hard but it was so worth it! Krew is the best, cutest baby boy. I didn't think that I could love someone as much as I love him. Being a mom is amazing!! It evokes feelings of love from you that you didn't think that you would ever have. I'm so lucky. I'm so greatful that Heavenly Father and entrusted me with this choice little spirit. He is so sweet.

Bun in the oven.

This is my Krew.

One of my friends that I work with is taking up photography and she wanted to take some pics of my great big belly. She is awsome! And, she is just getting started so she's pretty cheap. If anyone needs a photographer go to Michelle heaps! Just thought that I would post some of these to motivate myself to lose all my baby weight!

One down and lots more to come!

Last weekend was our one year anniversary! Its crazy that our first year together flew by so fast! Doug made a special effort to help me to feel pretty :) He painted my toe nails for me and shaved my legs! Haha Now that is true love- I'm so glad that me and doug have eachother. We are absolutely best friends. We were talking about how we are going to grow old together and we both decided that it would be ok to live in a nursing home as long as we are together we would have fun even in a nursing home! I don't think that I will ever get sick of Dougy. He keeps me laughing. I feel like he has helped me to grow up so much this year that we have spent together- I can honestly say that Doug helps me to be a better person. I love being married to him!
