My "baby" is 15 months this month :( He is growing up so fast! When I look at these pics it makes me a little sad because he is a little boy now! . . .but, he will always be my baby lol. He is saying new words everyday but right now his vocabulary includes: momma, hey dad, hi, that hot?, abba (abi), and no. He can say a few other ones but I really can't count them yet. He is running all over the place (usually away from me) he loves unloading all my cabinets and he is enfatuated with the sprinkler and the toilet. I also have some really good news a couple times lately if I put Krew on the toilet right when he wakes up he goes potty on the toilet! He loves watching the toilet flush! I'm sure it will be a while before he is potty trained but I'm really glad that he is already excited about it! Oh and I'm pretty sure that Krew is going to be a lefty! He colors with his left hand and eats with it also! Even if I put his spoon in his right hand he changes it to his left to eat. I'm pretty excited about that because so far I'm the only lefty in my entire family so I think its pretty cool that Krew is joining the severely left handed club :) I've heard that you can't tell for sure until they are two so we'll see if anything changes. We were out at my parents the other night after it rained and Krew LOVED playing in the puddles! At first I was trying to keep him out of the water but I finally gave up and decided it would be ok if he looked like a little rag muffin. My mom took these pics. aren't they good? I'm so glad that we live so close to my family right now. Its been so fun spending time with them and I love that they help me with Krew so much. He loves his grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles!
Oh man I LOVED the nice weather we had this weekend! We just wanted to spend all day outside! Krew loved it to . . . he is such an outside boy! I turned on the sprinkler and let him play in it. He just kept tryin to drink it haha! The later we went for a bike ride and had a bbq at the park. I hope this weather lasts! I'm sure ready for summer! All that playin in the sun wears a little guy out! Gotta love the going to bed at 7 part! Wahoo!! I also wanted to post this cute pic. of Doug bein such a good daddy :) Since he's not in school right now he gets to watch Krew while I work on Mon. and Wed. nights. They sorta have a new tradition . . .(I think thats its just because doug doesn't want to make dinner) Doug takes Krew to Mcdonalds every mon. night. Krew loves playing on the toys and of course eating the exceedingly unhealthy food :) I love watching Doug with Krew. He is so cute with him. Oh, and I hope everyone had an awesome mothers day! I sure did! I'm so lucky to be a mom. I love my little man! I have so many amazin moms in my life that set such great examples for me! I love my moms!
We have been patiently awaiting the birth of two little babies and me and Doug woke up this morning and we both had texts on our phones . . . They were born the same night! How exciting! There is nothin like having a new baby! Its such a special experience and it was so so so fun to go hold these two little cuties tonight! I love BABIES!! This first one is my new niece Josie. . . or maybe Payton? The name has not been decided yet. But I do know one thing; this lil girl has the CUTEST attire on earth! She is adorable! I can't wait to have a girl! Congrats Dan, Tracie and Presley! This is baby Maddex his mommy and daddy are our friends Kevin and Sara Sanders. He is so cute :)He is the exact same size as Krew when he was born! I think that he looks just like his daddy! Congrats Kev and Sara we are so happy for you!!
Dougs brother James got home from his mission tonight. Terrie was elated to say the least. As soon as she saw him walking down the stairs the tears started crying and she started jumping up and down :). It was so cute. . . I can't imagine leaving Krew for two years. Anyway, this was James first time meeting Krew. We have been trying to teach Krew how to say James for weeks now. . . to no avail. It was so excited to see James tonight! We love him and missed him so much! I remember we used to joke about us having a baby when he got home from his miss. and we have a toddler! YIKES! We're so excited to see how James's life unfolds. We are so proud of him for making the right decision to go on a mission and becoming such a good missinary. I know that is the best way to start his adult life out and I can't wait to see when life takes this boy! We love you James!
A couple of weeks ago we went with my parents to Moab Ut. for a week to go ridin. It was so nice to get away for a while. My inlaws took Krew which I am so greatful for! I didn't worry about him the entire time. Moab is such a beautiful place. I could live there. I love riding there because its pretty tough but its such a good work out and I like the challenge. Afer our first ride Doug informed me that he didn't know if he could ride the rest of the time because he was exhausted from taking his bike up some tough places and then getting mine though it to. haha we toughed it out tho. We ended up having a really good time. The temp. was in the 80's the entire time! Perfect!I love seeing my husband in his riding gear :) its hot! I love the red dirt and the slick rock. I was to scared to pack my camera along with me being that I wreck frequently so these a few pics that we took from a phone. Hottie :) My mom and dad our guides. All of us taking a break in a sweet cave we rode into.
My husband loves me. . . This is what Doug got me for my birthday, mothers day, christmas and every holiday for the rest of the year :)Thanks Doug! Your the bomb.com :)
I have been working on a baby scrap book for Doug and I came across a pic. of him that reminded me alot of a pic. of Krew on a pg. I did for him. I compared them and holy crap they look alike!
Doug and I were married in Idaho Falls, Id. Feb. 2008. We have two sweet boys. Krew is 2 years old and full of energy. Brody came to us a few months ago and has been such a blessing. Our boys bring so much joy and happiness to us. Right now we are currently living in Buffalo, Ny. where Doug is attending dental school at UB.
