Some Catchin up!

I'm SO BEHIND on posting so here is an all enclusive!
Back at the beginning of March I started to feel slightly better after 2 1/2 months of being sicker than a dog. I told Doug that I really wanted to get out of town and kind of "leave my sickness behind me." He suggested that we go to Boise and watch the state basketball games. So, I took out my pump, grabed all my meds and away we went for a nice weekend away. And believe you me, it was SO NICE to get away. I wasn't terribly sick without my pump which was a blessing from God. In fact I decided not to put it in again! Right now I'm feeling so much better. We have a DVD player in our car which made the ride so much better for Krew. Doug got a pop so naturally Krew had to have one to. Not only did Doug get him a small pop but he definatly got him a "BIG GULP" I just had to laugh when he brought it out of the convienant store. Krew sat in the back and drank half of it and watched his fav. show Nemo. He then produced about a 10 lb. diaper. Never felt a wetter diaper in my entire career as a mom. Thanks dad. You made Krew's trip.

Playing in the pool at the hotel. Our hotel was right across the parking lot from the Idaho Center which worked out perfectly for us. We could just walk back and forth when Krew got tired of watching B-ball and go swim. On sun. morn. we spent 3 hours in the pool! Needless to say that Krew was completely a prune by the time he finally got out. He likes swimming so much these days.

Finally I'm blogging some pics from Krew's 2nd birthday party! He is always so excited to have visitors! Thanks to everyone who came you made his day!

Fav. Uncle Allen. Al is so nice to always take krew to play outside and spend time with him. We love you Al and we r really going to miss you! (especially Krew!)

Missy and Coby came up to Idaho a couple weeks ago and it was fun to visit while I did her hair. She brought Jacoby over to play with Krew and I was really suprised at how good they played together givin Krews sharing abilities :) I really miss Missy! Sometimes I really think twice about going to Buffalo because Missy's husband is going to Med school in AZ and Doug got into the same school for dental. We would have so much fun if we went there!

Fast hug! Even tho this pic. is blurry I had to post it because its so cute.

We also got to go to Pres's Birthday party at the Blackfoot pool. Krew LOVED the slide there! I thought this was a cute pic I snapped of the two of them.

My Cousin Tiff made it through Idaho Falls the other day and she stopped by. I was really glad she stopped because I hadn't seen her little boy Grant Benjamin yet. He's seriously the CUTEST little boy! Holding him made me really excited to have a baby. I forget how easy babies are at first :) SO fun to hold and cuddle! Sadly this is the best pic we got. Krew was being quite a character. He wanted to go outside if you can imagine that.

Its a BOY!

I don't think I ever blogged that we're having ANOTHER boy! We found out a couple weeks ago and I just haven't had time to post pics from the ultrasound. So, after I get all caught up I'll figure out how to post em. We'er really excited to have another boy. It will be really fun to have two little boys I think. Hopefully they will be great buddies. Doug's mom had 7 boys and no girls so they keep teasing me that I'm going to carry on the tradition and have all boys ah! Who knows maybe that will be the case but I can't complain because c'mon who doesn't love little boys? If this next one is at all like Krew he will certainly work his way right into everyone's heart! :)

Krew is Two!

I can't believe that my baby is two! Those two years flew by way to fast! We threw a small little party for Krew but he loved it. Its so nice to have a few new toys to play with. Its hard to believe that this is probably Krew's last birthday here in good ol' Idaho. I sure am going to miss being here and having family around to celebrate these times with us. I'm so glad that we were blessed with Krew as a son. He is such a sweet little boy. Learning and growing every day! He can't wait to be a big brother and is SO aware of mommy's baby in her tummy :) Sometimes I feel like I will never love anyone as much as I love Krew. He has been my baby for so long. I'm sure when my precious little bundle gets here my heart will change but for now, Krew has my heart. . . I love you Krewzer, you are my best boy and I'm so blessed to be your mommy. Thanks for the last two funnest years ever!

I need to document that I'm still Krew's favorite girl to kiss :)

My latest project. . .

My latest and greatest project that I've been working on lately has left me totally drained, sicker than a dog, and a little fat... you guessed it- we are adding another member to our family! These past few months have really been a trip for me and I want to write it all down since this is what I consider my journal. So for those of you who don't want to, you don't have to read all this! I was hoping that this pregnancy would be a little easier than my last being that I got so sick when I was prego with Krew. But all my hoping was to no avail. I've been in and out of the hospital, on home IV's and I'm currently hooked up to a small pump that stylishly hangs from my belt. After all this I'm happy to say that I am at the almost self sufficient stage. I haven't been able to cook yet. (we've been relying on my mother in law's cooking, Dougs cooking when he can, and frozen meals:) delicious!) But other than that I'm back to work, I can brush my teeth without dry heaving if I'm carefull, I can walk, go out in public if I dare, and take care of Krew. I'm so greatful for my mom, sisters and Mother in Law who helped my family through these past weeks of absolute Hell. The first 3 months of pregnancy has been one of the hardest trials that I've ever had to go through. That may sound silly to some people but being pregnant and learning to rely on others for the simplest of things is my giant. I have a hard time accepting help for some reason but I'm coming out of this with a greater resolve to help those who are in need more than I have been in the past. I'm also so greatful for modern medicine. Without medicine and a great Dr. I probably wouldn't be able to have kids because I would get to dehydrated and miscarry. As of today I'm 3 months along! WOoHOO! I'm feeling better than I have been and I hope that I feel completely better in the upcoming weeks! I'm sick of being sick. . . bring on the labor!

Born to be WILD

Since Doug has been doing alot of this lately:
Me and Krew have had lots of time to spend together. He's getting to be such a character. Everytime amma and papa stop by he has them just in stitches laughing. He's been slightly difficult for me to get a handle on these past couple weeks. Here are a few of the funny things I've caught him doing lately or that he just likes to do: Mr. Sneaky likes to get the ice cream out of the fridge when I'm not looking.

His new fav. place to watch "toons" It gives me a heart attack everytime I catch him up there!

The weather has been so nice lately. On Sat. I bundled Krew up and let him play outside. He didn't want to come in all afternoon. He played outside for hours!

Krew watched Doug drill something the other day so of course he had to do it to. Under our supervision we let him try to drill on his rocking horse. He now always wants to play with the drill.

Gotta make sure its sturdy!

Another one of Krews' new favorite things to do is act like a "mer-man" in the tub. Check out those sweet cheeks!

How can I not just love this cute little face?

My mom gave me an early Mothers Day gift. We both love to cook from ourbestbites.com so she ordered us their cookbook! Its so nice to have some of the recipes we love in a book! I can't wait to use it when I start cooking again. . . more on that later. Thanks mom your the best!

Back in Jan. We hung out with some friends in our ward on New Years Eve. I brought a treat in my favorite polka dot bowl. I loved this bowl. On our way back in the house Doug was carrying Krew and my bowl and tripped. I ran back to were he tripped because I heard my bowl shatter and Krew start crying. When I saw what had happened I cried "my bowl!" (apparently I was more in love with the bowl than Krew :) I was madder than a hornet for days after because my favorite bowl was gone :( Well when our anniversary rolled around last week Doug TOTALLY REDEEMED HIMSELF!!! This is not the same bowl but I think I like it better. I just love polka dots and I love it even more because my sweet husband scouted it out for me. Thanks Doug! Your thebomb.com!

Christmas and an exciting announcement!

I'm so glad we had a white Christmas this year! Krew is at the funnest age this year. He loves his Uncles Mitch and Jack.

Krew is a copycat. . .whenever I'm in the kitchen cooking he wants to be to. The outcome of this is that I never have a clean pot or pan to cook in because he is always playing with them on the floor. Solution: Krew needs a play kitchen . .. (a manly one) So me and Doug re-painted this kitchen for Krew is white and orange. Those are boyish enough right? My mom got this kitchen for christmas when she was a little girl. Then, she re painted it and gave it to me and my sisters when we were little, and now, Krew is playing with it.

Krew absolutly loves Lightning McQueen lately. He watches the show everyday. (I'm not proud of that but sometimes its the only thing that will occupy him while I'm working.) He was so excited when gama gave him the "cars" cars for christmas. He plays with them all the time and I am very much enjoying the extra time it gives me!

All in all we had a great christmas this year. I love giving gifts at Christmas. Its so fun trying to find a gift for someone that will make them happy. Krew was extra fun this year. He even got in on the giving part which I was glad about. On Doug's side of the family Krew drew his cousin Presley. This gave me a good excuse to work on krew's vocab :) I kept out a pic. of Pres and Paityn and kept saying their names and before I knew it Krew was babbling all about Presley. He came to the store with me and helped me pick out her gift and coudln't wait to give it to her when we got to ama and papa's house. :) It was so cute I WISH I would have gotten a pic. Krew is so sweet. It made my heart just smile inside to see how excited he was to give his gift this year.
Our little family has made it a tradition to go to temple square around Christmas time and look at all the lights. This year we went with my family and it was such a fun trip.
Here is a pic. of my little trooper bearing the freezing cold while we were outside walking around.

Inside the conference center they had a cute nativity out on the stage where the pulpit usually is. . we coulnd't get close but this is the best pic. I got.

The amazingly beautiful 40ft. tall tree in the conference center. . . some day I hope to have a tree this size in my home. . ya right keep dreaming.

Last, but certainly not least. . .MEGAN IS ENGAGED!! Josh and Meg will be tying the knot May 14th. We are so happy and excited for them! Can't wait to have another brother in law! Congrats to the happy couple!
