FrEaKy FaMiLy ReUnIoN. . .

Don't we all look a little freaky? haha

We had a Family Reunion on my dads side of the family last weekend and it was a blast! Almost all of the grandkids made it so that was really fun to see everbody. We all live in different places and don't get to see eachother to often. We had fun (sometimes a little to much fun) playing some minute to win it games, eating some tasty food and catching up. At the end of the games everyone got prizes. . . Doug got a lovely pink see through bra, I got a pirate hat acccompanied by and eye patch and hook, and Krew recieved and orange wig. The prizes were halarius ranging from clown nose, crazy glasses and interesting underwear we all got a kick out of it. Days like these really make me wish that all my family lived closer together and we could see eachother more often!

And finally . . . our family.

I feel like the summer is coming to a close and I haven't had time to post anything about what we've been up to. Can't believe the summer is almost over! Well here is a little bit of what we've been doing:
One of Doug's good friends Benny is getting married soon and all his friends threw his a bachelor party and went ridin. I decided that all the wives should get together so everyone came over for dinner and then we had fun watching our kids play. All together there was 5 mommies and 6 kids at our house. There was lots of crying, nursing and laughing going on. Here is a pic of all the kids from left to right-

We have discovered this summer that one of Krew FAVORITE treats ever is ice cream cones. Doug was delighted when we discovered that and now takes Krew out for and ice cream at least twice weekly. Krew has since gained 10 lbs. . . no I'm kidding but this boy definatly gets his share of sugar!

We've also been boating quite a bit this summer. Its fun to be with fam. have lots of fun and of course eat some tasty food!

Viva Las Vegas

Me and Doug took a little trip to the fabulous Las Vegas a couple weeks ago so that Doug could check out a dental school and I decided to tag along. Neither of us had been there and it was amazing. I've never seen so many sparkling lights, amazing hotels, or drunk people ever.:) It was so nice to get away just the two of us.



This was our hotel it was off the strip a little ways so we definatly got our exercise in walking a bit.

In front of the Bellagio Hotel there is a BEAUTIFUL fountain that goes off every night it was awesome!

When all was said and done Vegas was fun but there just wasn't a whole lot for us to do :) We don't party and by the end all I wanted was to come home and see my baby. It was SO nice to get away together and it was much needed but when it comes down to it I would trade living in good ol' Idaho Falls with my family.
